Texas Choose'Em Game Overview

The object of the game is to pick which hand you think will be the highest scoring poker hand.

How to Play Texas Choose'Em

When you enter the game, 5 cards will be dealt face up and 5 cards will be dealt face down.

The strength of the face up hand will then be displayed in the black bar at the top of the screen.

You will then be able to choose your stake in the bottom left hand corner by using the up and down arrows, to either increase or decrease your stake requirements.

To start the game press 'PLAY'.

You can now choose which hand you think will win, either the face up cards or the face down cards. The odds of each hand winning will be displayed to the right of each hand. To choose your selection, click the 'TO WIN' button to the right of the screen. The face down cards will then turn over one by one to reveal the hidden hand.The hand with the greatest value will win (See poker hands below for values).

If you lose you will be dealt 2 new hands and have the option to choose your stake again.

If you win, then the face up cards will move to the top and a new hand of cards will be dealt face down. You then have the option to collect your winnings in the cash pot or choose which hand you think will win next.

Poker Hands
This is a list of all the possible poker hands that can appear in the game in order of value from lowest to highest.

High Card - (When no pair or higher are dealt)

Pair - (2 cards of the same number)

2 Pair - ( 2 separate pairs of the same number in each pair)

3 of a Kind - (Three cards of the same number)

Straight - (A run of 5 cards with consecutive numbers these do not have to be the same suit. E.g 4,5,6,7,8 these consecutives stop at the Ace when going through the high numbers and cannot carry round to the 2 E.g J Q K A 2 is not allowed)

Flush - ( 5 cards of the same suit but they do not have to be consecutive E.g You can have 2,5,8,10,J all of Clubs)

Full House - ( 3 of a kind and 1 pair)

Four of a Kind - (4 cards of the same number)

Straight Flush - (Same as a Straight but all the cards have to be of the same suit)

Royal Flush (Same as a straight flush but the run has to be 10 J Q K A of the same suit)
