The Arcade Hilo Game

As the game starts one numbered cup is selected at random. You must then select the stake you wish to play by using the stake selector. Pressing either the ‘Higher’ or ‘Lower’ button, depending on which you prefer, will start the game. A ball will appear and gradually works its way down the table until it falls into one of the numbered cups. If you make a correct prediction then you win!

Using the Stake Selector

To do this use the arrow buttons at the side of the stake box to raise and lower the stake. You will not be able to place a bet for more funds than you have in your account. Each bet is a single bet and there is no accumulation or need to collect after bets. Each bet will be for the amount selected on the stake selector and not the amount won in a previous bet. The payout for each bet is displayed below the button and shows how much you will receive if you guess correctly. As you increase the stake the payout displayed will increase accordingly, and likewise if you decrease the stake.

The ‘BURN’ Function

After the first play it is possible to press ‘burn’ to have a new random number generated for the next play. This will give you the opportunity to alter the number selected if you are not happy with it. It is only possible to ‘burn’ once per play.

The Numbers

The cups are numbered 1-15. A bet must be 'Higher' or 'Lower' than the number selected, a draw that is the same number will not win. It is not possible to place a bet that the ball will fall into the same cup twice or more in a row. Each numbered cup has an equal chance of being drawn and unlike pachinko games the cups in the middle are not more likely to be drawn than the cups on the outside of the table.

Game Statistics

The statistics for each session can be displayed by pressing the stats button in the header bar. These will remain displayed, and the game can continue to be played without removing them, until you press the close button on the statistics section.
