What Is Baltimore Drop?

Baltimore Drop is a bagatelle game where up to one hundred balls are fired into a vertical (or sloped) game board and bounce off a series of pins before dropping into pockets at the bottom of the board. Bets can be placed on which pocket a ball lands in, or which pin(s) it hits on its way down the board. Bets are placed on a ball hitting certain pins and/or landing in certain pockets. Up to one hundred balls may be played in any one game. The amount staked is multiplied by the number of balls played.

How To Play Baltimore Drop

Choose your chip value by either using the left and right arrows on the chip selector or clicking on the desired chip value. The chip chosen will replace the mouse cursor when hovering over the game board. Click on your chosen pin or pocket to place chip. A pop-up tool-tip will appear displaying the Stake, the payout of the bet and the potential returns of the bet being placed. Multiple chips can be placed per bet option. The Total Stake amount at the bottom of the screen will update as bets are placed. The UNDO Button removes the last chip placed. Holding down SHIFT on your keyboard while clicking on placed bets will also remove chips placed one-by one. The CLEAR button will remove all bets placed for that particular round.

You can also choose the number of balls you wish to play with. Increasing the number of balls will multiply your stake by that number. If multiple balls are chosen, all balls will be played in a single game.

You have to press the BET button to confirm your stakes and the game will begin.

If you would like the balls to go faster click on the OPTIONS menu at the top of the screen then click TURBO.

Winning and Out Of Bounds

If a ball hits any pin or lands in any pocket that has a bet placed on it, you will be paid out on each bet. One exception is if the ball lands in Out Of Bounds. You can place a bet each of the Out of Bounds pockets and will be paid out accordingly. However, if a ball does fall into Out Of Bounds you will lose any money that has been won from the pins the ball has bounced on its journey down the board.
