What is Double Barrel?

If you ever fancied facing off against John Wayne in a 20 yard double handed, quick draw contest, the adrenalin rush that is DOUBLE BARREL might just be the game for you. If you were never a fan of the western then don’t panic, wearing a Stetson is not compulsory, though of course you may if you wish!

The Double Barrel Game

Double Barrel is a multi-bet game where 24 balls of three colours (red, yellow and green) are rotated around the barrels of two revolver type guns. In every draw, three balls numbered 0-23 are selected in each barrel. A large variety of bets can be placed varying from single number bets, number and colour matches and totals.

How to Play Double Barrel

Placing Bets
To play, select your chip value and place your chips on the bets you wish to make on the table. Clicking more than once on a bet selection will increase the amount placed, depending on what chip value is selected. To remove all the chips from the table press the CLEAR button at the bottom of the screen. If you wish to just remove the last chip you have placed then press the UNDO button.

Playing the game
When you are happy with your bet selections and stake value, press the PLAY button to start the barrels spinning. You win if the numbers selected, totals, or combinations of colour and number matches you selected appear in the barrels when they come to a stop. The total value of the balls, and the totals for each side, are displayed just under the header bar at the top of the screen.

The Bets

Single Number Bets.
Bets can be placed on a single numbered ball (0-23) to be drawn. You win if the ball appears in at least one barrel; winnings are not increased if the ball appears in both.

Both Side Colour Matches
You can place a bet that one or more of the colours displayed in each barrel will match, or that none of the colours will match. For a colour to match there must be at least one ball of that colour displayed in each barrel. For two colours to match there must be pairs of colours, e.g. one yellow on each side and one red on each side.

A two colour match does not occur if one colour appears on the right and is matched by two balls of that colour on the left.

It is however possible to have a two colour match when two balls of the same colour are present on each side, for example two green balls on each side will be a two colour match.
These are exact bets and a bet that there will be a single colour match will not win if there are two or more colour matches.

Both Side Number Matches
You can place bets that one, two or all three numbers drawn in one barrel will match the numbers drawn in the other barrel.

Totals Bets
Bets can be placed based on the totals of the balls or by comparing the totals of the balls in each barrel.

Left or Right Side high bets will win if the side selected has a higher total than the other side. A side high bet will not win if the totals for each side are the same. Odd and Even bets will win if the total of all six balls drawn totals an odd or even number, depending on which bet is selected. Finally there are three totals ranges on which bets can be placed. If the total of all six balls falls within the range selected then your bet will win. The ranges are Low 6 - 56, Mid 57 - 81 and High 82 - 132.

Repeat / Double
A simple way to play the same chips without having to place them out on the table again one by one is to press REPEAT. After pressing REPEAT once this function will change to DOUBLE.

This means that the value of the chips on the table will double. Pressing DOUBLE again will mean that the amount of chips already on the table will be doubled and not just the value of the initial repeat stake added on. If you double up on a bet then when you come to repeat it the full value of the bet will be repeated and not the value before it was doubled.

Stats
You can view statistics for your game play by clicking Stats from the menu in the header bar.
The stats page will show which numbers have been drawn in which order for that particular game session.
